Di and Ivor - Guitars & Vocal duo Family Entertainment Country / Country Rock / RnR
Formed in 1994 - Di is the lead singer, lead guitarist and bass player, while Ivor provides support back up vocals, keyboard & percussion. Resume: Di worked in her band "Country Trax" playing in most of the major clubs in the Northern Rivers area of NSW. Sincer moving to Queensland she has performed guest spots for other established country Artists and many local country music clubs. Ivor is the 'funny man' of the duo providing most of the clean jokes and antics to entertain audiences with a unique down to earth flavour. Just Friends have been are influenced by numerous artists and include the following material in their extensive repertoire (over 500 songs):
The tunes performed by "Just Friends" range from the 50's, 60's, 70's including easy listening, all dance types, sing a long, country, Rock and Roll. Our shows are often referred to as a nostalgic trip back to the yesteryears as Ivor includes dress-up antics in wigs, hats and witty one-liners.
